Nyarugusu Gold Project

The Nyarugusu Gold Project is Pamoja Mining’s core operational asset, located in the Nyarugusu area of Geita Region, and represents a well‑established, fully integrated gold processing operation. The project is supported by two Carbon‑in‑Pulp (CIP) processing plants with a combined capacity of up to 400 tonnes of ore per day, enabling consistent and efficient gold recovery. With a strong operational foundation and resource base, the project has the potential to produce at least 30,000 ounces of gold annually, positioning it as a key driver of the company’s current production profile.

The processing plants are supplied by ore extracted from a 40.62‑hectare licensed mining area at Nyaruyeye, a highly active artisanal and small‑scale mining (ASM) hub within the prolific Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt—one of Africa’s richest gold‑bearing regions. Strategically located near the major mining settlements of Nyarugusu and within close proximity (approximately 50–90 km) to large‑scale operations such as the Geita Gold Mine, the project benefits from strong geological potential, established mining activity, and access to a vibrant local supply ecosystem. This integrated positioning allows Pamoja Mining to maintain steady production, optimize logistics, and expand operations as resource development progresses.
