Pamoja Mining Company Limited (PMCL) is an indigenous gold mining and processing company dedicated to delivering high-quality, responsibly produced gold through efficient, modern operations. With a strong commitment to operational excellence, the company operates advanced processing facilities with a combined capacity of up to 400 tonnes of ore per day, consistently achieving gold purity levels of 95%–97%, in line with international industry and market standards.
At the core of our operations is the Nyarugusu Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) Processing Plant—a fully operational and proven facility recognized for its reliability, efficiency, and consistent performance. Utilizing a controlled and optimized CIP process, the plant converts gold ore into high-quality bullion, ensuring strong recovery rates, stable output, and dependable supply for both local and international markets.
Strategically located in the gold-rich Geita Region, PMCL benefits from excellent access to infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and well-established regional supply chains. In the precious and base metals category, the company holds licences for Silver, Copper, Nickel, Cobalt, Iron ore, Lithium, Manganese, and Uranium. Its industrial minerals portfolio includes Graphite, Coal, Limestone, Gypsum, and Marble, while its Gemstone holdings include Ruby and Tanzanite.
Licence Footprint
PMCL holds multiple Primary Mining Licences (PMLs) and Prospecting Licences (PLs), with a strong presence across key mineral-rich regions of Tanzania. These include Geita Region, which serves as the company’s core operational hub, as well as Morogoro, Dodoma, Tabora, Mbeya, Shinyanga, and Singida. This extensive licence portfolio supports ongoing exploration, resource development, and future production expansion across a diversified range of mineral assets.
